About the Role

The Account Manager (Notifications) is to work in close coordination with other roles, such as Client Service Representatives, Customer Support Representatives & Finance, in order to provide the optimal customer experience for illion TenderLink clients, thereby achieving exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction. The primary objective of this position is to offer new and existing subscribers a level of customer service which ensures satisfaction and subscription renewal.

We raise the bar and we smash goals. These are some of the goals you will be smashing on a regular basis:

 

  • Ensuring customers experience a seamless transition from subscription activation to on-going customer support and renewal.

  • Implementing the Customer Engagement Strategy

  • Identifying and addressing, either directly or indirectly, any issues our subscribers have which may cause them to cancel their subscription renewal with us,

  • Identifying new business opportunities such as SaaS and TFS and alert appropriate team members

  • Analysing customer feedback to direct process development and improvement and product development

  • Highly self-motivated with an approachable and enthusiastic outlook to work

  • Persuasive communicator - oral and written

  • Computer literacy - conversant with Microsoft Office applications

  • Effective time management & the ability to prioritize

  • A proven commitment to detail and customer "follow through"

  • Ability to perform well under pressure and with limited supervision

  • Ability to apply discretion and maintain confidentiality of information and knowledge, when and where required

  • Demonstrated record of successful account management in a similar role or in a relevant industry or related sector

  • Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service via phone and email

  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact with professionals in medium to larger organizations.  This will involve a capacity to elicit user needs for tender notification services

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and to respond productively to changing requirements characterized by peak periods and a variety of tasks where attention has to be divided and immediate decisions are required
