Operations Settlement Officer

About the role

The primary purpose of the Operations Settlement Officer is to facilitate the settlement process for supervised entities of Guardian Trust and Covenant Trustee Services, including payments and banking transactions. Other key responsibilities include helping to manage online banking maintenance and administration, as well as supporting tax pooling systems.

To be successful in the role, you’ll need to have experience in and have a good understanding of banking and the settlements processes.

Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience in payments
  • Strong understanding of settlement processes (NZClear)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong computer skills/data entry
  • Familiar with supervised entities’ reporting obligations and local financial products (Preferred)
