About the role

Reporting to the Client Operations Manager, your role is to ensure that daily key support services are completed timely, accurately and in accordance with prescribed policies and procedures, to enable our client relationship teams to best service our clients. You will  have a keen eye for detail,  the ability to identify process improvements, as well as implement and deliver changes to improve the overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate actions with internal business and external investment managers
  • Trade matching
  • Share transfers and asset pooling
  • FX processing, including telegraphic transfers Client payments, including processing periodic payments
  • Receipting of client funds and fee processing
  • Client reporting
  • Daily filing of relevant supporting documentation
  • Provide ad-hoc support to Client Records team as required
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, statutes and regulations (e.g. AML-CFT, FMCA, FATCA, Right to be Forgotten)
  • Act as first point of contact and respond to internal and external stakeholders’ enquiries
  • Identify solutions for efficiency and ideas to improve the experience delivered to our clients

Skills and experience

  • Tertiary qualification (Business/Commerce)
  • Client services experience (essential) in banking/financial services (preferred)
  • Banking/financial services industry operations administration experience (essential)
  • In-depth understanding of NZ banking system, foreign currency processing and transactions
  • Attention to detail, process improvement/re-engineering
  • Strong computer literacy, including online banking processes
  • Complete operational tasks in quick and efficient manner while adhering to compliance requirements
