Customer Support Officer - Christchurch

  • Fixed-term opportunities to March 2020
  • Applications close Sunday, 21 July 2019

Are you a star Administrator interested in developing your talents further? Do you thrive on providing outstanding customer service in a fast paced, varied environment?

Then we have just the opportunity for you!

ACC's vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury. At ACC we've been reflecting on the way we work, what we deliver and how to make it easy for our customers. We achieve all this by putting the customer first and this reflects the new and exciting phase we are entering.

We are looking for a customer service superstar to provide administration support to our busy Christchurch Short Term Claims Centre. This is a great place to work and provides a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to join a supportive and caring team. Working for ACC also provides the added benefit of knowing you are doing something meaningful to serve the wider community.

Working closely with your Team Manager, you'll be tasked with providing administration support to our internal customers in our Short Term Claims Centre

We are looking for a person who brings administration skills but just as importantly has the right attitude! We need someone who is highly customer focused and has the energy and the drive to go the extra mile. Without a doubt you will be well organised, resilient and level-headed with excellent organisational skills. Strong keyboard and processing skills will enable you to keep up with a fast-paced workflow.

Take this chance to join an organisation that will support your development and help you to grow your career.

The indicative starting salary for this role will be pro rata $42,305. This is exclusive of ACC's 9% superannuation contribution which would bring the total starting package to $46,112.

This is a full-time, 40 hour week position. The core work hours are Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.

Note:

To date the organisation has consulted with our employees on a proposed new model, roles and ways of working which were confirmed late last year. Over the next 12 months, we'll be progressing some changes that we have recently confirmed with our people, some of which will involve rolling out new roles and ways of working across the country. As part of these changes we have confirmed that the role you have applied for will look different in the future state.

If you have any questions about the role, please contact Vicki.jeffries@acc.co.nz

At ACC, we recognise that diversity, inclusion and accessibility is important to our business. We embrace the unique perspective and capabilities of our current and future employees, which will help us continue to drive innovation and achieve our business goals. Our culture enables us to create an environment of involvement, respect and connection with the communities where we work - benefitting individual employees and all our clients across New Zealand.
