A successful and expanding Civil Construction Company with operations throughout the Auckland region seeks to appoint a General Manager to take control and lead the total operation..

As the General Manager it is expected that you will have  extensive experience in business development, civil engineering  and managing and improving business performance through superior  leadership ability.

Specific responsibilities include: operational excellence, driving quality and systems, health and safety, operations capability and innovation, staff leadership and financial management.

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Well developed English communication skills
  • Previous senior level experience in civil construction  management
  • The ability to secure new profitable contracts. 
  • Experience working with construction  plant and equipment
  • A tertiary qualification with further training and study

This is a challenging role that would suit someone who is energetic, ambitious and enjoys working at a fast pace. An attractive salary package is offered along with the ability to grow as the business expands.
