Process Improvement Engineer

Our client is a large manufacturing company supplying large volume specialised products to both local and international markets and form part of a larger global group. They currently seek to employ a Process Improvement Engineer to work within one of their busy plants.

Key Purpose of the role:

  • Improve the process control of the Plant Operation
  • Contribute to short and medium-term improvements in product quality, process reliability, product delivery and delivery performance
  • Drive improvement in cost of Product Lost performance through reduction in yield loss, downgrade and customer complaints
  • Deliver priority improvement projects
  • Identifying longer-term projects that will have a positive impact on the Plant

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor of Engineering in chemical materials or similar
  • Strong team focus 
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills 
  • An uncompromising attitude to safety
  • Highly-organised, have the capacity to plan and delegate responsibilities
  • The ability to analyse issues in detail
  • Attention to detail and a can do attitude
