About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused Maintenance Person to join our team at Edmund Hillary Retirement Village in Auckland. 

In this role you will assist with various aspects of building and equipment maintenance including managing onsite hazards, electrical equipment testing, building WOF compliance, liaising with trades people, moving furniture and boxes when delivered to reception, assisting with rubbish collection and ensuring immaculate presentation of our beautiful facility.

We have two full time positions available, working the following shifts:

  • Sunday to Thursday, 0800 – 1630
  • Tuesday to Saturday, 0800 – 1630

About You

You will bring experience from a previous commercial maintenance/building role preferably with a trade qualification.  Your ‘can-do’ attitude, strong initiative and ability think on your feet, will enable you to effectively support the Facilities Manager.

This role is quite physical, so you will like to keep moving and be proactive in your approach.  You will also enjoy meeting our residents throughout your activities and be friendly and empathetic.
