The Role

An exciting opportunity exists within the Marketing department for a passionate and proactive Marketing Associate. As a key contributor within the marketing team your primary focus will be the execution and implementation of the instore point of sale strategy aligning with the NZ marketing calendar. You will provide support and assistance to Brand Managers and Marketing Manager on all marketing activities to support key launches and promotions.  This busy and multi-tasking role will expose you to a variety of stakeholders internally and externally and you will be expected to build positive working relationships with our suppliers and retailers at all times.  

Reporting to the Brand Manager, this role involves a variety of key responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

  • Manage point of sale materials and in-store merchandising requirements
  • Prepare and dispatch creatives for retailer marketing requests
  • Proof all retailer advertising material including catalogues, direct mailer, solus emails and online features
  • Provide marketing support for in store events
  • Prepare sales meeting materials for internal staff and sell in cycles for retailers  
  • Record and track POS expenses, raise purchase orders and complete month end reporting
  • Support the team in the implementation of digital marketing strategy
  • Compiling strategy presentations
  • Achieve various administrative tasks to aid marketing processes
  • Prepare and present monthly competitive reviews

    Core Skills and Traits

  • Degree in Marketing desirable
  • Previous marketing experience in a busy role would be an advantage
  • Strong ability to multi-task in a hard working and busy environment with cross functional teams and suppliers
  • Work to deadlines with a high level of attention to detail and great organisational skills
  • A team player who is approachable, flexible and adaptable with excellent communication skills
  • A proactive, positive and willing disposition
  • A passion for the beauty industry
  • Computer literate with knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop
  • Previous SAP experience would be advantageous
