We have an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our Animal Health team to cover seasonal workload demands. You will be joining the Operations & Service Group and reporting to the Animal Health Laboratory Team Leader. This team is responsible for delivering on the promise we make to our customers.

This role will responsible for preparation and testing of bovine and Caprine tissue, blood and semen samples for PCR and ELISA testing in the Animal Health Laboratory.

This is a fixed term position through to 31 May 2020.

We pride ourselves on ensuring that our teams are exposed to the knowledge and experience that they will need to be a successful and important part of our team.


About You

We are looking for someone with a knowledge of laboratory processes and an understanding of ISO 17025 accreditation. Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot effectively are essential to be successful in this role. Farming and Science experience would be an advantage.

You will possess agility, flexibility, resilience, excellent communication and collaboration skills, empathy for our clients with a strong focus on customer delivery.

With a 'can-do' attitude, your focus will be to deliver quality outcomes, and you'll have excellent attention to detail. LIC values and recognises those who consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences!
