Receptionist Central-City Hotel - Christchurch

  • Experienced Receptionists in a hotel for full-time roles in Christchurch
  • Immediate start
  • You will need high standards of communication in English, both written and spoken.

We are looking for experienced Receptionists for full-time roles in a hotel in Christchurch.

This will be working on a rotating roster 7 days a week. The shifts will be either 7 am - required, 8.30am - required or 3 pm - required. Some stay overs and working on call after hours will be required.

To be successful in this position we are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, strong computer abilities, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.

You will need high standards of communication in English, both written and spoken.

What you will be doing:

  • Taking reservations for the venue through the various channels by phone, email and online
  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
  • Assisting guests with any enquiries & requests (tour bookings, property, restaurants, attractions etc)
  • Processing Check in & Check out
  • Evening Audits

Candidates that apply should have either previous hotel experience as a receptionist or experience in the hospitality industry with strong administration skills.

This position is only available to those that are able to live and work in New Zealand.
