We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Manager in a varied role. You will have fantastic opportunities to learn and develop a strong base of marketing skills. 

Your new role will involve...

  • Management of the social media presence across Facebook, Instagram and Youtube 
  • Planning, sourcing and development of social media content including imagery and copywriting
  • Maintaining website content
  • Daily updates of customer database software
  • Management collateral
  • Creation and distribution of business cards and signatures
  • Assistance with the coordination of events, promotions and trade shows – smaller events will be managed by yourself
  • Coordination and development of internal and external communications including eDM newsletters and staff monthly updates
  • Coordination of marketing collateral production including adverts
  • Creating reports with recommendations from campaign monitoring software.
  • Management of Google Reviews
  • Weekly reporting of digital performance (social media, trademe etc)
  • Assistance with all other marketing and business development opportunities as they arise 

Your skills and expertise...

You will need to be legally able to work in NZ and will have

  • Marketing degree or diploma is preferred but not essential
  • If you have on the job experience but aren't qualified we would still love to hear from you
  • Social media experience/passion
  • Interest in photography
  • Enthusiasm and ability to use initiative
  • Strong business acumen - excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience using Adobe creative suite (InDesign, Photoshop,  Premier Pro) is preferred but not essential
  • Ability to work extra hours when required (i.e. during events)
