We are a major entertainment business with more than 180,000 TAB account-holders and a retail network comprising around 550 outlets.
RITA directly employs 690 personnel, with the majority of these people involved in the various facets that make up the TAB operation scheduling daily racing for customers in New Zealand, selling racing and sports bets through our retail network, online and telephony channels, or the broadcast of racing on our national television channels Trackside 1 and 2, and on Trackside Radio.
We are looking for a full-time Retail Assistant to join our upbeat and dedicated team at the Trax TAB branch, Wellington. You will be working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a rostered basis, including weekends, nights and public holidays.
About the role
As the face of the business, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. While providing excellent customer service you will quickly and accurately assist in the placing of bets while creating and engaging experience. Cash handling and confidence in your numeric skills are a must with a high volume of cash handling being done on a day to day basis. Further, you will provide expert product knowledge and advice to our customers and create an atmosphere which highlights the TAB to be a fun and welcoming environment.
