What you will be doing:

Mercury is growing its Data & Analytics capabilities and you will take the technical lead across all things Data Engineering. By introducing new technologies and partnering with the data science team, you’ll increase the cleanliness of data to problem solve Mercury customer roadblocks.

Your passion for innovative approaches such as AI and Machine Learning you will ensure data is set up to enable initiatives in the future. Continuously improving data models and raising standards across the business, you will pay an instrumental part in getting this practice off the ground.

Key Skills and Experience:
  • 8+ years in a commercial data focused role
  • Ability to communicate and lead across cross-functional enterprise environment
  • Technical skills across a mix of SAP, Data lakes, AWS, Integration, Python, SQL and SAS
  • Exposure across database technologies such as Spark, Hadoop and EMR
  • Stakeholder Engagement / Management
  • Natural enthusiasm and curiosity to new technology,
