Your new company
Construction and Engineering business who specialise in commercial, industrial and rural construction throughout the Otago region. This thriving construction business has been operating in the region for the past 30 years and has built their business upon hard earned reputation and delivery quality projects.


Your new role
Your role as a Commercial Foreman, will see you work on a multitude of projects which have already been secured for 2019/2020. You will work closely with the Site Manager, where you will get support on a daily basis in your role but you will also have a supportive leadership style and personal drive determination to fast forward your career.

This role would see you working on the tools whilst supporting and leading a team. You would be overseeing carpenters and ensuring projects are being completed within quality parameters, on time and within budget. Other duties include OSH, site administration, planning and managing subcontractors.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Carpentry Trade Qualified, with at least 5 years site experience
  • Various experience across the commercial industry
  • Through understanding of construction methodologies
  • A mixture of motivation, determination and ambition to succeed
  • Good references to back up your skills and work ethics
