Can you play a key role supporting New Zealanders to achieve their goals? Are you looking for a dynamic, varied role where building relationships is key to success?

Case Managers play a vital role in our communities. Every day is different, rewarding and challenging. We offer a great work environment, a fabulous team culture and a way to make a real difference to the lives of New Zealanders. This role will appeal to highly motivated, adaptable, great communicators, who have a strong client-focus and are driven by service excellence and achieving results.

About you

As part of our team, you will work alongside clients providing support to help improve their lives and connecting them to development and employment opportunities.

You will be focused on achievement and work to practically help others to access job opportunities, training and development, education programmes and work experience by using your labour market, employment and career advisory knowledge.

Your welcoming approach and manāakitanga with our people will enable you to know them, understand how to best support them, and work with them to achieve their goals. You’ll bring a high level of personal integrity, initiative, solution focus and relationship management skills to the role. You will be well-organised, have good listening skills and an empathic, non-judgmental approach to serving others. You’re comfortable navigating your way around computer systems and enjoy finding solutions to problems.  You will need to assess eligibility and support people accessing income support as part of this role.

To succeed in this role you will need to:

  • Have a passion for changing people’s lives for the better.
  • Work alongside clients from diverse backgrounds and communities.
  • Be flexible, solutions focussed and client centric.
