Customer Service Administrator (Part-time)

We’re looking for a high-energy part-time Customer Service Administrator to join our Customer Service team, working 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

The role

Based at our reception from 8am-12pm you will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors to our office. From 12pm to 3pm you’ll provide customer service representative assistance for our customer service team.  You’ll gain a thorough understanding of all Counties Power service offerings and interests.

Day to day you’ll welcome all visitors to our Counties Power office, address visitor queries, assist with maintaining the company stationary stock, assist with the creation of service orders, manage banking and EFTPOS payments, courier and mail services, take ownership of, manage and resolve customer queries and complaints and provide general administrative support across the business as required.

Whist the core hours of the role are 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday, flexibility is a high priority for us as we anticipate, on occasion and by agreement that there may be additional hours required to cover times of absence within the reception and customer service team.

To be successful in this role you’ll have

  • 5+ years demonstrable experience in administration, customer facing or accounts-based roles.
  • A high-level of IT literacy with thorough understanding of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Confidence and ability to diffuse and calm customers in high pressure situations, whilst keeping a polite and patient demeanour.
  • The ability to think on your feet and proactively provide accurate information and solutions for customers.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to respond to customer needs, concerns and convey the range of services Counties Power offer.
  • The ability to work with customers and staff of all backgrounds and levels is essential.
