He angitūtanga…  the opportunity  

This is a fixed term role for approximately 1 year to cover a period of parental leave.  If you are experienced in youth programming and passionate about youth development, then becoming a Team Leader (Youth Programmes) at Youthtown could be the perfect choice for you!    In this role you will be responsible for designing and leading our youth programmes across the Auckland and Northland region, so that Youthtown remains a market leader in the provision of safe, superior-quality youth development programmes.

 

He kōrero mōu…  About you

You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in the design and delivery of outstanding programmes for young people.  Due to the reporting and operational requirements of the role you will have a keen eye for detail and proven performance in meeting budgets and deadlines. You will have a good understanding of the issues facing young people, the Code of Ethics for Youth Work in Aoteoroa and confidence in engaging with relevant stakeholders in the sector.  Above all, you will have a commitment and passion for developing young people and empowering them to be the best they can be!
