Group Broking Manager

As the Group Broking Manager you will manage an established book of commercial clients in addition to maintaining our strong culture and values and empowering staff by creating a high performance culture through coaching, leading, and motivating.  This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, resilient and business-savvy leader with strong commercial insurance broking expertise to step into this challenging and rewarding position.

Are you our next success story?

  • 5+ years previous experience in the insurance industry with strong commercial Broking expertise and product and industry knowledge
  • Proven experience in leading, coaching and developing a results focused and high performing team to ensure business and individual performance targets are exceeded
  • Developing and managing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven sales and training ability including outstanding negotiation and persuasion skills and process improvement skills
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to adopt a senior position within the office
  • A very high level of written and verbal communication skills 
  • Exceptional time management, process coordination and workflow allocation skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities to tight and fast changing deadlines
  • Knowledge of generic Insurance Broking competencies
  • A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Financial Services, Insurance or NZQA/ Insurance Industry recognised qualifications is preferred
