We are looking for a passionate Part-Time Rural Reporter keen to take the next step in their career and join one of the most exciting & talented newsrooms in the country.

Day to day, you'll be responsible for:

  • Producing agenda-setting stories and multimedia content to the highest possible standard
  • Meeting daily content output demands of all platforms
  • Maintaining a strong contact base to ensure you have an awareness of all relevant issues

Key requirements to succeed in this role include:

  • The ability to innovate and generate fresh ideas
  • Strong journalistic skills
  • An understanding and ability to deliver ethical, balanced, well-researched words and visuals
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • Have a full driver's licence
  • Feel comfortable shooting your own photos & videos
