Pedagogy & Quality Assurance Advisor

About the role

This full-time, fixed term role is part of the National Pedagogy and Quality Assurance team, providing professional advice to our Early Learning Centres and Home Based networks. Your leadership, passion and self-management skills will enable you to make a real contribution to our team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing highly effective professional development advice
  • Delivering and upholding quality assurance processes
  • Safeguarding ECE legislative and regulatory frameworks
  • Maintaining quality practices under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014
  • Contributing to the review of national policies, procedures and processes
  • Supporting strategic areas of improvement across our Home Based and ELC portfolios

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated strong leadership ability and experience within ECE legislative and regulatory frameworks
  • In-depth understanding of Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014
  • Understanding of change management processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel within NZ
  • A full New Zealand drivers licence
  • Education Council practising certificate
  • Early childhood teaching qualification (preferred)
