Account Manager (Notifications)

Illion TenderLink is recognised as the market leading provider of tender notification services and online tendering technology throughout Australasia.

 

A key area of the illion TenderLink business development resources, the Account Manager (Notifications) is responsible for assisting with the growth of our subscription base through ensuring customers access the full advantages of the product.  The primary objective of this position is to offer new and existing subscribers a level of customer service which ensures satisfaction and subscription renewal.

 

The Account Manager (Notifications) is to work in close coordination with other roles, such as Client Service Representatives, Customer Support Representatives & Finance, in order to provide the optimal customer experience for illion TenderLink clients, thereby achieving exceptionally high levels of customer satisfaction.



The ideal person will offer the following:

  • Highly self-motivated with an approachable and enthusiastic outlook to work
  • Persuasive communicator - oral and written
  • Computer literacy - conversant with Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective time management & the ability to prioritize
  • Research and analysis of client needs
  • Sound commercial judgment
  • A proven commitment to detail and customer "follow through"
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions to effect positive customer outcomes
  • Ability to liaise with other staff to provide high levels of customer support
  • Courteous and respectful for fellow employees, customers and public
  • Able to perform well under pressure and with limited supervision
  • Able to apply discretion and maintain confidentiality of information and knowledge, when and where required
  • An ethical and genuine approach to conducting business


Previous Experience required for the role:
 

  • Demonstrated record of successful account management in a similar role or in a relevant industry or related sector
  • Demonstrated ability in providing excellent customer service via phone and email
  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact with professionals in medium to larger organizations.  This will involve a capacity to elicit user needs for tender notification services
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and to respond productively to changing requirements characterized by peak periods and a variety of tasks where attention has to be divided and immediate decisions are required
