Sales Administrator

About the role:

As a Sales Administrator you will support the Data Centre Sales Team in Australia and New Zealand to deliver a consistent and quality service to our customers. This is a newly created role within our growing, and close-knit team, based in our Auckland office.

You will provide excellent administrative support through the maintenance of our sales and prospecting systems, preparing agendas and taking minutes in sales related meeting, assisting with customer contracts and aid in the preparation of proposals, minor contract renewals, and response to web enquiries.

You will seek and consider advice that leverages the array of skills and experience that we have available in our team, so that we always act in the optimal way for the benefit of the team and business. However, when faced with decisions or actions that you disagree with, you will respectfully challenge these, but once a decision is made though you will commit to it fully and with purpose.

You will have a great attitude, be a team player, and have top notch interpersonal skills. You will be proactive, have a strong attention to detail, excellent time management and work load prioritisation skills.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and experience using Salesforce is desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A background in customer service or co-ordination role
  • Experience in the same or similar role, with relevant industry experience will be looked upon favourably
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable (i.e. Certificate in Business Administration and/or Sales training)
