Finance Assistant

Platinum Recruitment are partnering with a market-leading commercial company as they look for a Finance Assistant for their Dunedin team (reporting into a Finance Manager).  This is a full time role focused across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll & general finance administration.

 
Responsibilities include:

  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Review AR & AP to ensure compliance
  • Maintain accounts receivable / payable customer files and records
  • Support the payroll function
Experience needed:
  • 2+ years of account receivable experience
  • Accounts payable and Payroll experience highly desirable 
  • Strong Excel skills (ideally above intermediate level)
  • Determination and driven to get an outcome
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen eye of detail!
