YouDo is an established and smart development shop that is well known for supplying software solutions to the NZ market. 

We're looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager who will drive future sales fitting our strategic plan. This is an excellent opportunity to become our NZ sales person and to grow the role as YouDo expands its horizons based on the business you find for us.

This is not a job for for the faint hearted. We need a hungry hunter, someone who will energetically seek out the markets we should be playing in, open doors, and establish relationships with new customers.

The initial legwork has been done with an existing pipeline and relationships to continue to build on. New opportunities will need to be identified and there is expert support within YouDo to help develop proposals, present technical solutions, and establish successful delivery projects.

We are looking for:

  • 3+ years successful record selling new business.

  • A proven track record of seeking out new customers and establishing the initial working relationship with them.

  • Knowledge of the bespoke software development industry will be an advantage.

  • Knowledge of the finance industry will be an advantage.

  • Someone who enjoys being part of a smart and vibrant team.

We pride ourselves at YouDo on providing a great place to work. We enjoy an open plan office located in the interesting end of town. We are easy going and have a relaxed attitude in many of the areas that other businesses take a more formal approach. But our style does not get in the way of a very disciplined approach to developing high quality software solutions.
