Inventory Coordinator- New Zealand
  • Join a Market Leading Global Business
  • Work with Well-Known Brands
  • New Role within New Zealand Business

About our Organisation

Established in 1948, the Detmold Group is an Australian family-owned and operated business, supplying some of the world's largest and most iconic food and retail brands. We are a leading manufacturer of paper and board packaging products with seven manufacturing locations and over 22 sales offices in 16 countries.

About our Opportunity

Recent sales growth in New Zealand, and the need to manage our inventory levels accordingly, has created an opportunity for a new role within our NZ business, based in Mangere, Auckland. This role will report directly to the General Manager, New Zealand, and report indirectly to the Inventory Planning Team Leader within our Group Supply Chain based in Adelaide, Australia.

The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels to agreed guidelines and optimising the NZ supply chain, working closely with our operations and sales divisions to manage the inventory for our portfolio of products. Key responsibilities include, gathering sales intelligence to provide accurate stock forecasting; identifying errors or opportunities to improve inventory parameters with Group Supply Chain; and supporting the sales community to adjust and maintain correct Economic Order Quantities.

About You

We're looking for someone with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to manage data. Our ideal candidate will have some experience within a similar role, but more importantly to us, you'll have a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to focus on strategic issues which will enable you to drive results. Effective communication skills, and the ability to integrate within a team-focused environment will allow you to forge positive relationships both within the NZ team, and across the wider business.

This is a great opportunity to join a global company. We offer a supportive team environment with genuine development and career-growth opportunities.

Confidential telephone enquiries are welcome to Elaine Dillon, HR Business Partner on 021 980 044
