People and Culture Administrator/Advisor

About the role

The People and Culture Administrator/Advisor is a hands-on role where you will manage the employment process for our employees from recruitment until the end of their employment with the company. The right person will be organised, process oriented and tech-savvy (word, excel, power point and HR systems).

We are a fast growing software development and professional services company, so you will need to be innovative and clever to keep the energy and spark alive.

Requirements and Skills

  • 3+ years' experience in an HR generalist role
  • Ability to learn new processes and systems quickly
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills being able to communicate with people at a range of different levels
  • Administration and organisation skills
  • Sound knowledge of NZ Employment legislation
  • Proven ability to build close working relationships
  • Desire to contribute to building culture and engagement
  • Be competent with the Microsoft Office suite and HR Systems- BambooHR experience is a bonus

Main Responsibilities

  • Providing end to end recruitment (posting ads, processing applications, supporting at interview), onboarding and induction
  • Process and provide all relevant documentation/information for payroll and managing benefits
  • Maintaining appropriate HR information systems and employee records updated
  • Support Health & Safety activities as required
  • Assist with growing the culture and performance of the business
