It is New Zealand's industry leader in the provision of high-quality commercial cleaning services through owner-operator teams who have purchased a CrestClean franchise. We provide contracted services to more than 5,000 businesses, schools, industrial, retail and office customers nationwide.

We are looking for an National Account (Relationship) Manager  who,  rather than having a sales focus,  will be a customer advocate to ensure their needs are understood and met,  and will manage all aspects of our relationship with national accounts.  The role is  responsible for building on and maintaining strong relationships. 

The preparation of tender documents and co-ordination of proposals is a key part of this role. We operate in a business to business environment and participating in tenders and RFPs are part of our industry's requirement when servicing larger corporates, national companies and organisations.  This role will work closely with our Regional Managers,  ensuring smooth service delivery for key national accounts throughout the customer life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop  and maintain relationships with national accounts to ensure long-term success
  • Liaise between our national account customers and internal teams (including sales and marketing) ensuring we give the highest level of customer service to national accounts
  • Prepare and co-ordinate RFP responses,  close out Service Agreements,  and manage  the customer relationship thereafter
  • Investigate and resolve queries and issues raised by national account customers
  • Track, measure and evaluate customer satisfaction
  • Maintain up to date  knowledge of our company products and services, as well as  understanding industry best practice and market trends

Applicant Skills/Experience:

  • Knowledge of and/or experience in RFP processes,  with strong documentation preparation and writing skills 
  • Good understanding of service agreements / contracts,  with assured negotiating skills
  • Confidence,  with  professional interpersonal skills,  and a proactive approach to account retention
  • The ability to build rapport and collaborate with others,  and  build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.
  • Able to accept responsibility and work autonomously,  with excellent time management (meet deadlines) and organisational skills
  • Advanced computer skills in  MS Office 365 with experience in using Customer Relationship Management systems
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field, (not mandatory)
