Salary Range $47,726.00 - $64,570.00

The Police Infringement Bureau (PIB) contributes to the effort to reduce death and serious injury on our roads under the umbrella of the National Road Policing Centre. It is part of the National Operations Group whose purpose is to deliver 'Our Business' through coordinated national services.

We have an opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about providing high quality infringement services to members of the public to join our accounts team.

You will work with a high performing and supportive team, responsible for identifying problem payments in relation to infringement notices and deciding the best course of action to resolve the problem.

Skills & Experience:

  • Work with concentration and attention to detail in a high volume processing environment
  • Navigate a range of computer systems, reports and spreadsheets to locate information
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of all information and decisions
  • Provide a high standard of customer service including responding to enquiries by telephone, email and written correspondence
  • Apply processing standards and guidelines to decision the best outcome for reconciling problem payments
  • Work collaboratively within the wider Police Infringement Bureau team and with external partner agencies and financial institutions to identify and resolve problems     
  • Office administration experience using and navigating computer systems
  • Microsoft Suite
  • Customer service experience
