Our client is a highly respected and growing Insurance Broker competing across all areas of the domestic and commercial insurance arena. They currently have an exciting new opportunity for a professional and hard-working individual to join their dynamic and friendly Christchurch team.

The Role 

As a Broker Support, you will be assisting the Christchurch team to service and manage an existing portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on major accounts. This role involves the timely processing of new business, processing and preparing renewals, endorsements and policies to ensure they are compliant with industry requirements. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Provide administrative support to the Christchurch Team
  • Process endorsements and cancellations
  • Ensure processes are carried out in compliance with industry requirements
  • Manage the renewal process
  • Ensure the accuracy of policy documentations
  • Data entry of new business
  • Liaise with underwriters and internal and external stakeholders
 Key Selection Criteria 
  • Proven experience in the insurance industry preferable  
  • Strong administration skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Proven hands-on experience generating offer and policy documentations
