Business Analyst

Our client is a major public organisation undergoing a digital transformation in an Agile environment. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst who wants to progress their career.

The role

You will manage in depth business analysis including identifying pain points, providing business requirements, enhancements, process imporevements and more. You will liaise with key stakeholders in order to be part of a successful delivery.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Utilising your strong analysis skills to embed new practices, developing innovations for contracts, ways of working and cultural shifts.
  • Identifying business requirements and develop process improvements
  • Elicit and document requirements and technical specifications
  • Manage system testing and ensure optimal quality
  • Provide expertise analysis on the systems and applications as well as conduct testing and de-bugging of systems
  • Efficiently manage timeframes, budget and resources for project planning
  • Communicate technical matters with multiple stakeholders on a business level, inform of potential risks and brief on system updates
  • Facilitate workshops

Key requirements

You have excellent problem solving skills and have had exposure to projects that required strategical thinking and analysis in an Agile environment. You'll ideally have a degree in IT or a related discipline.

In addition you have experience with

  • Working on business cases and across full project life-cycles
  • Working in large organisations within the financial services sector
  • Systems, applicatons and processes
  • Managing workshops and facilitate solution design sessions
  • Efficient stakeholder management
  • Eliciting business requirements
