About the business and the role
We are a Dog Day Care with Monday to Friday daily care and wellbeing services. We pride ourselves on being passionate about the dog care industry and seek suitable individuals to join our team. Our vision is to serve our clients beyond their expectations by creating and maintaining excellent canine services designed to compliment and support the daily care and positive development of their best friend. You must be confident to perform under pressure and be able to work independently and willingly roll up your sleeves and hit the ground running to complete the work schedules of the day to our standards.
Skills, experience and qualifications
You will have suitable animal qualifications with at least 2 years industry experience in canine management and able to handle groups of dogs able to interact one to one with dogs in a professional and caring environment. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills with both fellow team members and clients alike. You will have a proven history of working competently within small teams. You will be experienced in retail transactions engaging with a friendly and professional manner always providing a fantastic service to our clients. Experience with dog grooming an advantage and can be developed as another role. If you have an affinity with dogs, are self-motivated, able to work independently and thrive in an environment that can be fast paced then we would love to hear from you.
Role and responsibility
Whether you are seeking part time hours or full time hours you will be involved in all areas of the daily care routine from managing groups of dogs to providing one on one dog support to maintaining the facility cleanliness. You will become proficient in our client / dog care programme and be trained in various aspects of our dog and wellbeing services, multi-tasking successfully in all areas of the business.
