Kaipātiki Project is one of Auckland’s leading community environment organisations, involved in restoration and sustainability activities focusing on Auckland’s North.We deliver programmes that provide knowledge, skills and tailored support for people to identify and solve local environmental problems. 

This role is responsible for taking the organisation's ideas and aspirations, translating them into clear, targeted messages & campaigns. The Marketing Strategist is a refinement of our previous marketing role, stepping up from a focus on promotion, to a more strategic focus on the needs of priority external audiences. An increased, more strategic focus on the needs of priority external audiences will help Kaipātiki Project make choices that will achieve our goals more rapidly, by eliciting more support from our audiences in various forms.

As a volunteer organisation, Kaipātiki Project is seeking a more volunteer-oriented approach in its marketing delivery, This position will be responsible for identifying these volunteer opportunities, training volunteers and overseeing their delivery.

The Marketing Strategist will be the champion of ensuring the Kaipātiki Project brand is clear, relevant and emotionally connected to its target audiences, You will lead strategy development and execution of operational plans to increase membership, develop donor streams and secure local/corporate business sponsorship or other revenue.

This is an existing but refined role within a vital & dynamic team that embraces change and making a difference.  You will have the opportunity to progress and grow in a flexible, fun environment with high job satisfaction. Working 30 hours per week, we are seeking an immediate start. The role is based at our Centre on the North Shore.
