Radfords are 'growing the world's food basket' by designing, developing, selling and supporting great software for the fresh produce industry. This sector is at the forefront of global growth and is gearing up for the 10 billion people who will need to be fed in 2050.

We're a major provider of fresh produce-specific, inventory and quality management software solutions. Our products handle kiwifruit, avocados, apples, citrus, cherries, tomatoes, kumara, mushrooms, potatoes, herbs & salads - and this list is continually growing. You can check us out at www.radfords.global.

We've been in the the software game for nearly 30 years and have a dedicated team of 40 passionate people working out of our offices in Tauranga. In addition to clients throughout New Zealand, we also have a growing client base in Australia, France, Italy, Korea and Japan.

Our clients are moving more & more towards 24/7 production, so we need to increase our support services to carry this extra load. We are urgently looking for two extra Support Ninjas to start training for out-of-hours support.

This support will involve several of our products and go across several seasons during the course of each year, so plenty of variety to keep it interesting. The shifts will be rotated to cover weekday nights and full days over weekends and stat holidays, involving 40-hours work per week.

As the support load is variable, this role will also give opportunity to get involved in other aspects of our business - testing, user documentation and training materials. Appropriate training will be given for your scope of work and you will be able to escalate urgent issues to existing, highly-experienced staff.

If you're keen on becoming a support ninja, are well-spoken over the phone and happy operating on a rolling shift programme, we'd like to chat to you.

This is a great entry point into both the IT industry and fresh produce sector.

The application form will include these questions:
  • Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?
  • What's your expected annual base salary?
  • Do you have experience working in a technical support role?
  • Have you worked in a role where you were responsible for providing level 1 technical support?
  • How would you rate your English language skills?
