General Manager, Sales & Relationship Management NZPAC

The opportunity

An exciting new leadership role has been developed in our NZPAC business - General Manager, Sales & Relationship Management NZPAC - to build high value relationships with Major Trading Partners and regional Brokers and to develop and implement the profitable growth strategy, underpinned by our everyday promise to be truly customer centric.

Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, NZPAC, this role will be responsible for aligning the distribution strategy and initiatives across QBE’s NZ and Pacific locations driving consistency in business operations and intermediary experience.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Creating an environment that fosters high levels of employee engagement, diversity and inclusion.
  • Our intermediated distribution portfolio across New Zealand with a focus on enabling sustained business performance through the achievement of profitable growth
  • Developing and implementing the Major Trading Partners business strategy and proactively identify new markets/opportunities to expand trading partner relationships.
  • Participating as a key member of the NZPAC leadership team, contributing to overall business unit strategy and initiatives.
  • Enabling collaboration across Underwriting and Claims functions– making it easier to do business and to connect to the customer
  • Embedding a robust risk management framework across the function
