The role

We’re looking for a bright & energetic Marketing Assistant & Brand Ambassador to join the All Good bunch to implement our marketing plans across New Zealand under the guidance of our GM Marketing. With our plans heavily focused on loyalty and growing community, you will foster and engage our community through social, events and collaborations with like-minded businesses/people.

As well as consumer marketing, this person will lead the trade marketing support, such as managing the production of POS & marketing materials, trade events, sampling, retail activations and relationship/brand management with produce managers. You will be supported and guided by our GM Marketing.

About us

All Good were the first to bring Fairtrade bananas to New Zealand. Founders, Chris and Matt Morrison and Simon Coley started the business in 2010. Their motivation was to find and produce organic food and drink, and to give back to the growers. They called their bananas All Good because they're good for the land, good for the people and good for you.

Nine years down the track All Good Bananas are available all over New Zealand and have supported growers in El Guabo, Ecuador with more than $15 million invested back into the growers economy in El Guabo. Providing premium quality, organic food and drink and making a difference to the lives of producers is what drives our business.

Marketing Assistant responsibilities:

  • Implement the NZ Marketing Plan developed by GM Marketing, this includes loyalty building, organic/paid social, community/influencers collabs, pr, advertising & promotions with key customers

  • Work with the GM of marketing on campaign planning

  • Trafficking the production of POS & marketing materials, assisting in events, sponsorship requests, and sampling, manage merchandise stock and facilitating edm’s

  • Manage and execute the community and sponsorship strategy including presenting our story to schools

  • Manage the social media content calendar, community management, post caption writing and ad set up, and monthly engagement reporting

  • Manage the content across and eDM content

  • Produce performance reporting on local marketing activity

  • Manage the product foc tracker and local BAU budget

  • As the local marketing contact, manage customer queries and requests through info email & phone

  • Adhoc support including events, couriers, sampling packs/prizes (as required).

Brand Ambassador responsibilities:

  • Provide close support to produce managers, including daily visits to supermarkets and our independent  customers

  • Identify opportunities for bespoke in-store promotions in  supermarkets and independent stores

  • Organise and executing in store sampling and promotional events with key accounts

  • Plan, execute and attend consumer sampling events

  • Engage with consumers and tell the All Good Story.

About you:

  • 1-2 years marketing experience

  • Customer service experience

  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise your workload accordingly

  • Experience writing and uploading web content (preferred, not essential)

  • Experience writing and posting content for social media (preferred, not essential)

  • Excellent proofreading skills and attention to detail

  • Great attitude and team player

  • Supermarket safety certificate (preferred, not essential)

  • Full, clean drivers licence

Hours of work:

  • 5 days per week, with flexible working hours

  • Occasional weekend work for events and brand ambassador sampling duties
