Workforce Development Assistant (fixed-term, part-time)

We want more good people to come and do great things with us!

Our team works hard to achieve great things. We need a committed and energetic individual, keen to get involved and help us build a workforce of positive, engaged and capable people here at Waikato Regional Council.

We're looking for someone who can be responsible for booking training providers, courses and participants; completing data entry; setting up and packing down venues; updating our intranet page to keep staff informed of upcoming events as well as general assistance to our HR and H&S teams.

This role needs someone with a passion for customer service and a positive can do attitude. Previous relevant administrative experience is essential along with excellent planning and communication skills and high levels of accuracy. A relevant HR qualification is desirable but not essential.

In return we can offer a competitive salary, good terms and conditions and the opportunity to work in a progressive organisation with a team on a mission that's having fun on the way!

This position is for between 25 and 30 hours per week for a 20 month fixed term period.
