Who we are

We are a medium sized software development company that has been delivering desktop, mobile and cloud based engineering applications for over 30 years in the construction industry.  Our head office is on the North Shore of Auckland, with branches in Sydney, Australia, India and Miami, Florida.  Our portfolio of innovative solutions, are implemented using a variety of technologies from an Agile (Scrum) environment. We model real world Windows & Doors in 3D space and drive the ordering and manufacture of them - forming mission critical systems for our customers. We have a variety of customers from small manufacturers to large enterprise organisations internationally.

Working on our products, your development will be used by a varied mix of local & international clients who are always excited by creative leading edge solutions that have a real world connection to the places you live and work.

The environment

We have multiple product teams and supporting services - each team has a varied mix of roles and specific parts of our software solution that they are responsible for. The office in Auckland that you’ll be working with is predominantly a Research and Development team – we have a lot of people who all love technology. We value work/life balance with a mostly desktop environment to ensure people don’t take their work home with them. You’ll also be exposed to our offices around the world remotely as needed.

The position

The position we are looking to fill is for a IT Desktop Administrator. You’ll be:

  • Helping team mates with fixing their PCs when things go wrong
  • Building/configuring new PCs and environments as needed
  • Configuring software, upgrading operating systems (PCs and servers)
  • Managing user accounts and more
  • Helping with the logistical aspects of keeping IT systems running, patching servers etc.
  • Working in the Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
  • And more

With variety in the work you do you will get to interact with a cross section of people from the same office as well as some global experience with our remote offices.

We don’t like micromanaging (and we’re sure you don’t like to be micromanaged) so we are looking for a self-starter who will proactively resolve issues as they arrive.

When you have downtime you won’t just sit there you will be looking for ways to improve processes, improving your knowledge on systems, or reflecting on how to resolve items more effectively.
