Asset Specialist - Reinvestment

We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Specialist - Reinvestment in our Asset Management Team, within the Infrastructure Group.

The primary function of this role is to provide a link between the Asset Management Team, Generation Operations Teams (hydro and geothermal), Fuel Supply Team and the Wholesale Trading Team through the provision of strategic thinking, life cycle planning and high quality data modelling and analytics in support of major projects.

To be considered for this role you should demonstrate the following:

  • A working knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Proven technical expertise in relevant engineering modelling software packages.
  • Computer literacy - use computer applications in analytical and presentation processes (with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office software).
  • Good written and oral communication skills - prepare clear reports and public presentations on technical issues.
  • A good understanding of the need to establish and meet client requirements and maintain sound working relationships.
  • Competent in VBA programming or other programming discipline(s).
  • Structured approach to problem solving.
  • Implementation skills and delivery of outcomes
  • Outstanding ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation
