Fire Sprinkler System Inspector

The Opportunity


We are seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler System Inspectors wanting to make a career and lifestyle change to work within our premium fire systems inspection business.

These roles involve the inspection of new sprinkler installations against the provisions of the building consent, inspection of existing sprinkler systems against requirements of the building’s compliance schedule. You will work with clients to ensure issues are identified before they become significant problems as well as the identification of gaps in knowledge and need for training.

We have opportunities across the Wellington and Palmerston North regions - applicants from other regions are welcome and may be considered.

About You

We are looking for competent and dependable individuals to join this high performing team. You will enjoy building and maintaining relationships and be passionate about client retention and growth delivered through excellent customer service. You will need to have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal and a high attention to detail.

Ideally, you will have industry experience along with an understanding of the relevant New Zealand standards, both current and previous. An NZQA qualification relevant to the position will be of advantage.

You may be required to travel to client sites for work, so will need to be comfortable working on site and away from the office at times.
