Carpet Court is a market leader in its field, selling the total spectrum of flooring categories with great brands and great promotions, we are growing our market share dramatically and are looking for a Commercial & Insurance Administrator  to manage claims from registration through to settlement while providing outstanding service to our customers through excellent communication and follow up with the customers, providers and store. This position requires a flexibility and willingness to undertake other tasks as required to support the store’s achievement of goals and targets.

Key responsibilities:

As the Commercial & Insurance Administrator you will  guide and provide advice to customers on making claims and explain the process involved. You will have a great understanding of the urgency for processing claims in a timely, professional manner and will be responsible for:
  • Collect accurate information and documentation to proceed with a claim
  • Review customer’s policy to ensure coverage of claim
  • Contact appropriate Carpet Court store and arrange for them to make repairs on the customers property
  • Monitor the progress of a claim and follow up when necessary with the Customer, IAG or Carpet Court Store
  • Manage any complaints associated with claims
  • Identify reasons behind full payment not being made
  • Ensure fair settlement of a valid claim
  • Investigate potential fraudulent claims
You will also be assisting account managers with quarterly review meetings whilst completing monthly insurance reports and weekly invoices.  Insurances and Sales training will be required from time to time and making sure compliance is line with our policies at all branches. By assisting the account managers you will liaise with customers and negotiate new business with potential insurance customers and undertake requests from your manager to make their day job easier.

For this position we are looking for:
  • Previous work experience in similar business administration environment/position
  • Previous experience in Insurance and/or Customer Service based environment
  • Managing customers and relationships
  • Previous work experience in Insurance
  • Working knowledge of Insurance Claims process
  • Demonstrate high levels of computer literacy, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer focus
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attitude to learning new skills and systems
  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines, while retaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and high levels of resilience
