Showroom Assistant

Our client has defined enduring style for home furnishings in New Zealand & overseas for more than two decades. Importers of the finest collections of furniture & homewares from around the globe, they specialise in luxury contemporary pieces to create timeless interiors for their clients.

About the Role

  • Ensure a consistently memorable customer shopping experience
  • Ability & confidence to build relationships existing customers
  • Establish & achieve sales, margin goals
  • Participate in product selection & visual merchandising
  • Coordinate inventory, warehousing and shipments
  • Supportive administration duties to the Managing Director and wider team with product launch and merchandising.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven sales skills & ability to a close deal
  • Immaculate personal presentation
  • Sales experience preferably in the textile or luxury market
  • Passion & interest in high quality home furnishing, architecture & design
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management & attention to detail
  • Goal orientated with a high level of initiative
