CLIENT:
Our client, a luxury boutique lodge set in a pristine location in South Island’s eastern coast, is looking for a well-rounded Operations Manager join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Luxury Lodge in New Zealand. 

THE ROLE:
The Operations Manager reports directly to the managing owners and is responsible for providing leadership to a small team of luxury hoteliers. It oversees day-to-day management of the lodge covering Rooms, Food and Beverage, Estate Management and Engineering. To succeed in the role, you need to take ownership of the business and run it as your own. We welcome applications from Expat New Zealanders who wanted to return home and manage a luxury boutique property, yet have a work-life balance.

SELECTION CRITERIA: 

  • Strong operational background, preferably within a 5-star hotel, resort or lodge
  • Passion for luxury hospitality and customer service 
  • Excellent personal presentation, including the ability to personally liaise with the guests and organise their planned schedules on day-to-day basis 
  • Proven organisation and stakeholder management skills
  • Full New Zealand car license
