Fisher & Paykel Appliances design, manufacture and market a full range of domestic appliances. We are a global company built on a heritage of innovation and pioneering spirit that has seen us consistently deliver products tailored to our customers' needs since 1934.

Our success is built on an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation. Our goal is to become the world's number one premium appliance brand. At the heart of this success lies our exceptional people + goal team.

The Opportunity

Working in the world class Auckland Design Centre, you will be part of the People + Goal team that is instrumental in challenging and supporting sustainable business improvement and culture change through the People + Goal programme.

You'll be working with the F&P Business Units, both in the local market and globally:

  • lead and coach problem solving to identify and define a pipeline of high impact business improvement initiatives
  • assist Business Unit managers in the structured implementation of the initiatives pipeline to ensure benefit is delivered to the P&L
  • coach Business Unit managers in setting up and implementing People + Goal business excellence methodologies with a weekly cadence, including the tools and practices to embed and sustain change as part of "the way we do business now"

The role will also require travel to F&P's national and international sites from time to time.

So that's us. What about you?

You're a natural communicator, an active listener, a great coach and someone who can persuade others through having first class 'crucial conversation' skills. You'll have hands-on experience of using business improvement methodologies to implement change and ultimately deliver value.

If you can demonstrate experience of these plus the following then we want to hear from you:

  • Project management

  • Mentoring

What we offer?

Team based culture, great development opportunities, challenging and supportive work environment, leading technology, work/life balance, competitive remuneration, superannuation scheme and more including our famous subsidized cafe!
