Part-time Office Administrator

Are you a hard working Office Administrator? Looking to make a direct impact on the happiness and health of the office?

We have the job for you!

We need an experienced office administrator to help us part - time for 20 hours per week.

You will be a strong communicator, highly accurate, and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks, with a calm and empathetic personality.

A little about Intergroup:

Intergroup Limited is New Zealand's Infrastructure and Industrial Services specialists with more than 35 years' experience. We are 15 branches Nationwide and employee more than 500 people.

We do everything from pipeline inspection and repair, to drainage maintenance, hydro excavation, liquid waste management, specialist industrial and marine services, ultra-high pressure water-jetting and more!

More about the job:

  • Completes general office administrative duties
  • Assists office staff in maintaining accurate files and databases
  • Prepares reports, presentations, memorandums, proposals and correspondence
  • Assists with accounts and payroll functions, as required
  • Serves as the go-to for office inquiries and issues
  • Enters and tracks information in operational costing, invoicing, and time sheets
  • Generates purchase orders
  • Maintains a tidy office spaces

You will have:

  • Approx. 3 years' experience in a office administrative role
  • Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and be a proficient user of Microsoft and accounting software packages
  • Literate and numerate skills
  • Sound attention to detail
  • A doer and a finisher nature with a good sense of humor
  • Good organisational, administrative and time management skills

We offer a great team culture within a friendly and tight knit office. Our New Plymouth depot is looking for the right candidate to join and help take us along our journey.

Pre-employment drug and alcohol tests may be required. Please also note that you will be required to pass periodic random drug and alcohol testing throughout your employment.
