Business Unit Manager

THE COMPANY
Nexus Foam has recently been purchased by Skellerup Holdings Limited, a Publicly listed company. Based in Auckland, Nexus Foam https://www.nexusfoams.com/ manufactures bespoke soft composite components, predominantly for the manufacturing and construction sectors. Their products are design and process intensive, and the business must be highly agile to maintain their exemplary record of supply and specification compliance.  Operations are ISO9001 compliant, and Health and Safety practices are rigidly adhered to.  Above all, their clients recognise their ability to innovate and deliver a wide range of products on time and to the highest of standards.

THE ROLE
We are seeking a Business Unit Manager who will focus on growing the company by taking advantage of market opportunities and leading a continuous improvement process. This is a broad role within a small, tight-knit team, where no two days will be the same. You will need to be flexible and nimble in your approach and be able to foster that agility within your team. You will report directly to the Group CEO but will be given the autonomy to make your own decisions within the business plan.

THE PERSON
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced line manager to step in to their first GM position. You may have come from a Sales leadership background and now you want full P and L responsibility within a division of a larger company.
Core to your success will be having a strong academic background and an understanding of multi product environments, MRP systems, cost management and an ability to present ideas/plans/strategies in a precise and concise manner.

To succeed in this role, you will be comfortable working within a small team where it's all-hands on deck! You will be a confident and culturally aware communicator, with a wholly inclusive approach.

This is a fantastic opportunity with an established, customer-focused company. To express interest please call Iain MacGibbon (029)9159144 or Rosemary MacGibbon (029) 5204754 or apply online by clicking the “apply now” button below
