We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated Property Claims Consultant to join our friendly and collaborative team in our Wellington office. 

Your next career move

Your role will be to provide outstanding customer service to both internal & external customers through timely, accurate and efficient processing of new customer polices.

In addition to providing an exceptional level of customer service, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers who experience loss or damage to their property
  • Providing case management and maintaining a portfolio of claims
  • Advising customers of their policy entitlements, lodging customer claims, explaining claims and repair processes as required
  • Setting expectations on the claims process whilst providing the right solution to meet the customers’ needs

What you'll need to succeed 

  • Property claims experience ideally from a claims centre environment
  • Be solution focused with strong problem-solving skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills
  • Be flexible and resilient with ability to work under pressure
  • Be comfortable using multiple systems
