Medical Waste Courier

Our client has been delivering service and technical support to the Healthcare Industry throughout Otago and Southland for over 35 years. They have a solid reputation for delivering service that is timely, efficient and one that will go beyond expectation.

You will have;

  • Class 2 Drivers Licence with good experience
  • Excellent customer service ethos
  • The ability to work independently & under time pressure while not compromising service
  • A record of employment that proves great reliability, commitment and flexibility
  • Good physical fitness

Key aspects;

  • Medical waste collections and driving duties throughout Otago & Southland region
  • Overseeing vehicle fleet maintenance
  • Stocking and loading of vehicles
  • Collection and delivery of equipment to clients
  • Completing dangerous goods paperwork
  • Assisting with the pack up, set up and transfer of Mobile Dental Units
  • Providing technical assistance and support with the testing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs of medical equipment

A Dangerous Goods endorsement, EAS/EST licence or personal or professional technical/mechanical experience are all beneficial skills but not essential. The role will require you to be available for one overnight trip per week.
