Business Improvement Lead

UniServices is a dedicated research, knowledge transfer and custom education company making a tangible difference to New Zealand and other parts of the world. With over 400 staff, our work is varied and future focussed - we closely partner with the University of Auckland to add value to:

  • Business through contract research, consultancies and licensing;
  • Investors through intellectual property development;
  • Governments & communities through societal research, custom education programmes and service delivery.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Business Improvement Lead to support our organisation and be our driving force!

In this diverse role, you will be someone who is a well-rounded, organised, and down to earth. As a shared service resource you will identify and implement process improvement opportunities relating to the core work of our operating model. This is an excellent opportunity to gain or build on your exposure to a large organisation's practices and procedures with exceptional room for growth and development.

To be successful in this role you will need -

  • Critical thinking expertise
  • Ability to interpret complex information to analyse and determine solutions
  • Competent project and time management as well as problem-solving skills
  • Resilience to cope with competing demands without compromising quality and deadlines
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aptitude and willingness to assist team members
  • Strong communication skills and capability to manage relationships with stakeholders
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience using recognised business improvement methodologies
  • A tertiary degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience
