Territory Manager, South Auckland

 

You will be responsible for the overall management of the South Auckland Area.

Focused on achievement of national sales objectives through working through an effective customer call plan covering Retail Grocery, Foodservice/Commercial distributors and wholesalers as well as selected Convenience and Hardware stores.

Planning and implementation of agreed promotional plans and initiatives set by the Regional Sales Manager.

Leading a team of part time merchandisers to assist you with call and territory objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Achievement of annual business targets and drive sales in the territory
  • Achievement of product distribution targets
  • Implementation of account shelf plans
  • Manage effective use of  merchandiser team within budgets

 

Position requirements:

Education Level/Degree: Tertiary Education

Years and Type of Experience:  2 years’ experience in a TM position in Consumer Goods/FMCG

Skills and Abilities:

  • Customer service orientated
  • High degree of self- motivation & confidence
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Results-driven
