Adviser Support

Due to an internal movement we are looking for a professional person who has a genuine desire to play a strong administrative support role to one of our Auckland based Private Wealth Management Adviser Teams.

Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a can-do approach and a great communicator (both written and verbal). You'll have a client first mindset and a strong understanding of New Zealand AML / Compliance requirements.  Duties include:

  • Onboarding of new clients, including coordinating the transfer of assets
  • Take and place client orders accurately, on time and according to the clients’ instructions
  • Produce / update client portfolio valuations and distribute to clients
  • Coordinate client correspondence including marketing activities, reports, mail-outs and client letters
  • Manage incoming calls, meeting and greeting visitors
  • Assist broader Adviser Support team and handle general office administration as required
  • Assist with the set up and running on internal/external events and meetings

Knowledge / Experience Required

  • Understanding of financial markets and how they operate, including regulatory knowledge such as AML and other industry specific Compliance is essential
  • At least 2 years Administrative experience within Financial Services, preferably from working within Wealth or Private Banking

Skills Required

  • Client focused
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Exceptional administrative, planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
  • Highly numerically proficient with high attention to detail
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships through an open and approachable manner - professional, can do positive attitude and a friendly demeanor
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel (including creation of formulas and pivot tables within Excel)
